DON'T PANIC!

Although your humble origins are from a floating rock in space where the local authority rather step over you than help you, you find yourself attached to this high adventure life in space.

Now all of that is under a threat so great that even to talk about it may get you killed, or worse. But there is hope, you. After stumbling across a mysterious locked box floating in the center of a hollowed out cavern deep in an asteroid hidden among millions of other asteroids that leads to some extra dimension space you find yourself with a choice. Go on a couple of perilous milk runs for a mysterious Arcane to enact his plan to save the many star systems, or walk away and hope for the best.

He promises no riches or glory but only that your deeds will make your world and many others a better place to live without the impending doom all of the civilized worlds are oblivious to. If you don't chose to help, millions will die and it'll be all your fault. No pressure.

ABOUT THE GAME

Some of you may think just because this is a Spelljammer game that there are some weird rules. Nope, this is just normal kick in the door, kill the monster 3.5 D&D. Now, when taking a horse to the next town, your horse may be an air ship and the town may be on another planet but that's what Spelljammer brings to the table. Now if you're old like me and remember 2nd edition Spelljammer and vaguely recall the overly complicated ship to ship combat... we won't be doing that. I can, but I don't really want to. For one, player participation is usually limited to just 1 player, the guy driving the boat and that's not really that fun for everyone else. So, any ship to ship relations will be mostly dramatize and become a part of roleplaying.

The game is 50/50 roleplay vs combat. Each session should have at least 1 combat and the rest is dedicated to player interactions. If it starts to get a little too long in the tooth, I'll go ahead and expedite to the next scene. One of the things I bring to the game is good graphics. I enjoy making high quality detailed maps (keeps me from explaining what a room looks like) to help immerse players in to the scene. Be sure to check out my gallery for example of portraits, tokens and maps. I prefer player tokens to use my format and I will go as far as to design a custom token for you based on your character concept or original token if it's not up to par.

Game currently meets on Tuesdays at 4pm to 8pm (UTC-8, Pacific).
